Fees

Another 8 Hours takes great pride in producing quality work within our client's budget. Additionally, we recognize that each client situation is unique. Although our mission is to serve clients as their partner on a retainer package, we do offer hourly and project fees as well. Our hourly rate starts at US$68.00 per hour. Terms and Conditions (partial)

Most clients find it beneficial and more cost-effective to secure our services on a retainer basis or, what we call, a Partner Package. You can choose from any of the following packages or we can customize one that's just right for you.

    • Virtual Partner: 24 hours of virtual assistance per month
    • Limited Partner: 16 hours of virtual assistance per month
    • Business Partner: 8 hours of virtual assistance per month

VA vs Employee

The decision to outsource your administrative and other business support tasks can be a tough one. While Another 8 Hours would welcome the opportunity to partner with your company, we do realize that not every situation is suitable for an independent contractor relationship.

When cost is a factor in making your decision, keep in mind that hiring an employee does not necessarily save you money. Hiring an employee can quickly add up to 50% to your compensation expenses. Also, keep in mind that a full-time employee does not necessarily mean a full week of productive time. A 40 hour work week for an employee can quickly turn into a 15-20 hour week for a virtual assistant. Why? Because a virtual assistant does not charge you for idle time, lunch hours, sick days, vacation days, and personal time.

Due to the fact that Another 8 Hours performs as an independent contractor we incur all the overhead expenses typically incurred by those who hire employees. Overhead expenses such as office space, office furniture, supplies, telephone lines, and other such equipment required to run an effective, efficient business office whether it be in your home or outside the home.

You don't have to take our word for it. We invite you to compare the costs associated with hiring an employee by utilizing the salary calculator to the right. Once you've discovered the cost-effectiveness of partnering with a virtual assistant give us a call to arrange your free one-hour consultation.

By partnering with a virtual assistant for just four hours per week you gain 10% more time in front of your clients. If your time is worth $150 per hour, that's $600 a week you spend on administrative tasks. Partnering with Another 8 Hours can save you hundreds of dollars per week.

It's like giving yourself a raise.

Just think what the extra client time can do to increase your sales numbers.
